Plans, pricing, and page limits

AvoFax offers both monthly plans and one time lifetime plans, so you can choose what fits you.

The two tiers

Pro: built for everyday business faxing. Includes 250 pages per month.
Secure: built for healthcare and anyone who needs HIPAA compliance and a signed BAA. Includes a higher monthly page allowance.

How limits work

Usage is counted by pages, not by number of faxes. A ten page fax uses ten pages.
Both sent and received pages count toward your monthly allowance.
Faxes that fail are not counted.
Your monthly allowance resets each billing cycle. Referral bonus pages never expire.
Your account does not expire if you do not fax in a given month.

You can add a professional cover sheet to any fax and reuse your common documents.

Is AvoFax HIPAA compliant? BAA and Secure plans

Accepted Answer

Yes. AvoFax supports HIPAA compliant faxing on our Secure plans, and we provide a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA).

What the Secure plans include for compliance

A signed BAA between you and AvoFax.
Encryption of your documents in storage.
Audit logging so you have a record of activity.

Which plan do I need?

If you send or receive protected health information, choose a Secure plan (the monthly Secure plan or the lifetime Community Secure plan). The Secure plans are the HIPAA ready tiers.
The Pro plans are great for general business faxing that does not involve protected health information.

You can read the agreement in advance on our BAA page. If you are not sure which plan fits your compliance needs, contact us and we will point you to the right one.

Import your contacts

Accepted Answer

You can save your frequent recipients as contacts so you do not have to retype fax numbers.

Once saved, you can pick a contact when you send a fax instead of typing the number.

Question 6

Does my account expire if I do not fax?

Accepted Answer

No. Your account and your fax number stay active even if you do not send or receive in a given month. There is no use it or lose it expiration.

Your monthly page allowance simply resets at the start of each billing cycle. Regular monthly pages do not roll over, but referral bonus pages never expire.
