Security is built into AvoFax from end to end.

How your faxes are protected

• Encrypted in transit and at rest. Your documents are encrypted while they are sent and while they are stored.
• Per-user access. Each team member has their own login, so you control who can view and send faxes.
• Audit logging. Activity is recorded, giving you a clear trail of who sent or viewed each fax.

HIPAA and your BAA

If you handle protected health information, the Secure plan adds HIPAA compliant faxing with a signed Business Associate Agreement. You sign the BAA in the app when you send your first fax, and a copy is saved under Legal Documents.

• Turn on two-factor authentication and manage your security under Security settings.
• You stay in control of your data and can manage it from your account.
