Choosing or changing your fax number

When you sign up you can choose the number that fits you.

Picking a number

<ul><li>Search by area code to get a local number.</li><li>Search for a vanity number, for example a number that spells FAX or a memorable digit pattern.</li><li>We offer numbers in the United States and Canada.</li></ul>

Changing your number later

<ul><li>You can change your number up to two times at no extra charge from <a href="https://app.avofax.com/settings/workspace/numbers">Phone Numbers</a>.</li><li>If you want to keep a number you already own, do not change it. Port it in instead. See the porting guide.</li></ul>

If a search shows no available numbers for an area code, try again shortly or pick a nearby area code. Inventory refreshes regularly.
