Choosing or changing your fax number

When you sign up you can choose the number that fits you.

Picking a number

• Search by area code to get a local number.
• Search for a vanity number, for example a number that spells FAX or a memorable digit pattern.
• We offer numbers in the United States and Canada.

Changing your number later

• You can change your number up to two times at no extra charge from Phone Numbers.
• If you want to keep a number you already own, do not change it. Port it in instead. See the porting guide.

If a search shows no available numbers for an area code, try again shortly or pick a nearby area code. Inventory refreshes regularly.
